Outreach education in schools and higher education facilities

Artistic Workshops at the Europole High School, Grenoble
As part of the agreed convention, Le Pacifique has set up a partnership with la Cité Scolaire Internationale Europole in Grenoble (a project supported by the DRAC). Christine Lentheric, a movement analyst, leads workshops alongside the EPS professor in charge of the project. The workshops culminate in a performance at Le Pacifique of the group’s achievements.

Le Pacifique also puts great effort into teaching activities within the scholastic system, taking charge of the school’s artistic dimension, from simple classes to grand Projects of Art and Culture (PAC).

This box is a pedagogic and play tool about dance for young people. It was created by CDC Toulouse / Midi-Pyrénées. It is based on a video (28') projected and commented by a mediator and on a small book for young people. This tool propose a dance history on 10 dates which make bridge between news and dance.

Outreach education in a corporate setting

Personal carers from la Ferme du Vinatier, in Bron (69)
La Ferme du Vinatier (Psychiatric Hospital Centre, Le Vinatier – Bron) is currently introducing cultural activities destined to complement the changes at the psychiatric institution. As part of the convention "Culture and Hospital" initiated by the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Culture, Christiane Lentheric represents Le Pacifique | CDC by holding workshops designed for the care staff.

Art and enterprise
Through varied workshops specially adapted to the staff and managers of numerous companies, Christiane Blaise proposes a supporting venture to help participants appreciate their achievements and help them evolve. It is based on a teaching method that favours exchange, that is founded on mutual trust and the desire to be mobile without getting lost, and encourages creativity and not imitation.

Dance in school

Le Pacifique propose a variety of actions for students and teachers school in partnership with Ministry of Culture : artists in workshop, dance training and coaching for teachers, internship on stage jobs, pedagogic tool box, workshop on performance analysis, performances and showing in our space...

Amateur Activities

Le Pacifique l CDC makes available a studio for dance company which organize amateur class all the year (except holidays). Weekly classes for adults (technique classes and floor work) are held by independent companies (call them for info)  :

Les Juniors du Pacifique

Les Juniors du Pacifique are a group of creation in contemporary dance for children and teenagers from 10 years old. The choreographer, Jackie Simoncelli, has a non technical approach. 
In 2011-12, they work pieces of Andy De Groat they will present in May and June.
