Demonstrations for the general public : les Alertes au Pacifique
The Alerts can go off at any time. They indicate a special occasion, an interesting event, a performance, a show or some other lively event that might grab your attention. These totally sporadic meetings and gatherings simply will not allow the audience to remain passive onlookers. Supporting them will be some very unique artistic performances, genuine moments of reflection that guarantee an emotional reaction from the audience. Le Pacifique has total freedom to invite both known and yet-to-be-discovered artists depending on what is needed, what is considered important and who the hot favourites are at any particular time.

Outreach education in schools and higher education facilities
Artistic Workshops at the Europole High School, Grenoble
As part of the agreed convention, Le Pacifique has set up a partnership with la Cité Scolaire Internationale Europole in Grenoble (a project supported by the DRAC). Christine Lentheric, a movement analyst, leads workshops alongside the EPS professor in charge of the project. The workshops culminate in a performance at Le Pacifique of the group’s achievements.
Le Pacifique also puts great effort into teaching activities within the scholastic system, taking charge of the school’s artistic dimension, from simple classes to grand Projects of Art and Culture (PAC).
Outreach education in a corporate setting
Personal carers from la Ferme du Vinatier, in Bron (69)
La Ferme du Vinatier (Psychiatric Hospital Centre, Le Vinatier – Bron) is currently introducing cultural activities destined to complement the changes at the psychiatric institution. As part of the convention "Culture and Hospital" initiated by the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Culture, Christiane Lentheric represents Le Pacifique | CDC by holding workshops designed for the care staff.
Art and enterprise
Through varied workshops specially adapted to the staff and managers of numerous companies, Christiane Blaise proposes a supporting venture to help participants appreciate their achievements and help them evolve. It is based on a teaching method that favours exchange, that is founded on mutual trust and the desire to be mobile without getting lost, and encourages creativity and not imitation.
Dancing Conferences
Dancing conferences address various communities, dance specialists, company staff committees, and career guidance councillors amongst others …
Through words and movement, the conferences open up a multitude of questions: can we both lead and be led, and recognize our mistakes? What does it mean to give and receive, to be afraid, to take risks or lose your bearings, or take another’s place, what is fusion and autonomy? How can we use imbalance, focus self-orientation, take decisions, manage chaos, push beyond boundaries, injuries and accidents, and make ourselves more available?
Paroles Dansées
Autour du mouvement, des chorégraphes, danseurs, chercheurs et autres personnalités sont invités à nous faire partager leurs expériences et leurs réflexions. Approche de la danse avec ceux qui la font et ceux qui en parlent.

Amateur Activities

These classes aim to encourage the exploration of various forms of body movements and develop personal creativity and dance expression, in respect of each child’s abilities.
Participants: 2 age levels (6-8 years and 9-14 years)
Occasionally, le Pacifique l CDC organises weekend workshops of contemporary dance for adults (for beginners and the more adept) based on the notion of improvisation.
Weekly classes for adults (technique classes and floor work) are held by independent companies in the Le Pacifique l CDC studios.
